Summerland Music Camp 2026

July 6–10, 2026

Monday–Friday

8:30 AM–12:30 PM​

Ages 7–11

A week-long morning camp where students explore music, art, and dance in a welcoming and creative environment.

​

Students will learn ukulele and singing, create visual art, and participate in dance classes throughout the week. The camp concludes with a short performance for family and friends on Friday.

UKULELE & VOICE

Students learn basic chords, rhythm, and songs in a supportive group setting. Beginners are welcome, and students with some experience can continue building their skills.

CREATIVE ART

Hands-on art sessions allow students to experiment with materials and create projects they can take home.

URBAN DANCE

Students explore movement through hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, and tap in energetic dance sessions focused on expression and fun.

Early Bird (until May 1) - $140
Regular Registration - $165

Registration includes a camp t-shirt.

Bursary assistance is available for families in need.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Water bottle

  • Comfortable clothes suitable for movement

  • Running shoes for dance

  • A ukulele (if your child already has one). Otherwise, ukuleles are provided to all campers.

WHAT TO NOT BRING

  • Please do not send snacks. Families will be invited to contribute fruit, vegetables, or cheese for shared snack time.

  • ​Electronics are discouraged so students can stay focused on activities.

FRIDAY PERFORMANCE

Families and friends are invited to our final performance on Friday, July 10 from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM.

 

Students will share a presentation of the ukulele, singing, art, and dance they have been working on during the week.

​

Following the performance, families are welcome to stay for a potluck lunch.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

Summerland Music Camp relies on community volunteers to help make the week run smoothly. Volunteers are asked to complete a criminal record check before camp begins.

Donations help provide bursaries so more students can attend Summerland Music Camp. If you would like to support a student who may not otherwise be able to participate, donations are welcome.
