BASICS

COST

Cost is $210 – pay in whatever installment plan works best for you

E-transfer, cheque, cash all preferable, though credit card and paypal are options

 

HOW IT WORKS

I will print out a UkuKids I Booklet and ask you to contribute $10 toward that. We’ll use that for the whole season. You will need a binder for that (duotangs are so unruly on a music stand)

Come pick up an ukulele if you would like to rent one for awhile (in the seeing-if-it-will-stick period). They are $5/mo (replacement is about $50+ in the event of damage).

Come to the lesson 15 mins early to set up our seating and ukes and music stands (I provide).

​

I follow up our 45-minute lesson with a note to families that says what we did, and what we are going to do the following week – or at least what to practise during the week. You might sit in (in the background) with your musician for the first couple of lessons, to see what we do. Because of their ages, they will need you to assist in their practice time, which should be 10-15 mins a day 3 or 4 days a week. 

 

WHERE

Here at my home studio at 14409 Cartwright Ave, around the back (through the carport, up onto the deck, into the house without knocking, down the stairs, and to the left). If the end red door is closed, I’m just finishing up a lesson, so please wait in the sitting room right next door. Or wait on the deck, if you like.
